Shrimp Broil

  • Print a Recipe Card

  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, divided
    1/4 cup finely chopped green onions with tops
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    2 pounds raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1-3/4 cups fine, dry bread crumbs
    1/4 cup Fryin' Magic
    1/4 cup finely snipped parsley

    1. Heat 1/4 cup butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add green onion and garlic; cook 1 to 2 minutes. Add shrimp and cook about 5 minutes, or until tender, turning several times.

    2. Melt remaining 1/2 cup butter and mix with bread crumbs, Fryin' Magic, and parsley.

    3. Layer crumbs and shrimp mixture in a buttered, shallow, flameproof 1-1/2 quart dish, ending with crumbs.

    4. Set under broiler until top is lightly browned.

    YIELD: 6 servings
